New Commissions

Here's a drawing I did for a woman I work with of her young son. First I painted with watercolor and acrylic paint and then I drew with charcoal over it to make a cool looking effect.
This next painting was done for a couple I'm friends with for their living room. They said I could do anything I wanted as long it was green. I painted many layers of acrylic paint and used a bunch of different stencils, then I collaged on some old newspaper to create the birds and then painted them with some gold oil paint.

Had to add some Stuff

These are a bunch of Van Dyke Prints I did couple years back in college from the Dagger Series. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures and printing them, I gotta do something like this again. A couple of the prints I went back and drew on them with pen and colored pencil. Hope you like.

Oh Shoot

My comp broke a couple weeks ago and my hard drive was toast. So I lost all my pics, sucks. But I've been working on a couple paintings so I will update and add some photos soon. Peace out

New Marilyn Monroe mixed media Portrait

So here's one of my portraits I've spent a lot of time on lately. It's a mixed media portrait of Marilyn Monroe done with acrylic, oil, watercolor and charcoal pencil. I painted the background with different shades of blue and purple and let it dry, then painted white acrylic where the portrait would be and then drew with charcoal on top of it. I experimented with the different medias by layering them on top of each other. I used hard and soft rollers/brayers along with a bunch of different stencils. I really like the way it came out and I am planning on doing more portraits like this. Hope everyone likes it!
